Model UN

Are you interested in world issues and international affairs? Join Model UN to learn, research, negotiate, and debate with others in a role-playing simulation of the United Nations diplomacy process!  We attend conferences once a month with other High School teams at the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne. We also attend one travel conference a year held out of state. Students can earn JOA and GCI credit for participating in conferences. 

• Who: Open to any OC student
• When: Generally, once a week. Meetings more frequent when preparing for conferences. Meetings announced on Schoology.
• Where: Room 209 and Conference locations (often University of Pittsburgh)
• Time: Meetings are afterschool until 4:00 p.m.; Conferences are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
