BAM! Because Academics Matter is an academic enrichment program built around six individual workshops focused on various concentrations.

Learn new things, make new friends and meet OC faculty! Come explore, discover, and grow with us at one of our Saturday BAM! Because Academics Matter workshops.

FOR: Girls currently in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade

COST: $30 per session. Sign up for all 5 for a discounted rate of $125.

Ready, Aim, Fire... Crazy Catapults!

Saturday, October 9, 2021 – Mr. Steve Graner

Join us in the Innovation Lab to design and fabricate your own catapult. Use it to launch a projectile across the room! Bammers will learn how to use the laser cutter/engraver and other basic high-end machinery. Students will battle against each other in a competition that will test their creations on both distance and accuracy!
