Financial Assistance

Our goal is to ensure the accessibility of an Oakland Catholic educational experience for young women from all walks of life.

Approximately 40% of our students receive some level of financial assistance. The Board of Directors, President, and Advancement Office have committed to increasing the amount of available tuition assistance. As a result, Oakland Catholic has increased its financial assistance annually for the last several years and is now able to meet 50-58% of a family's calculated need. IN THESE EXTRAORDINARY TIMES of COVID-19 and economic distress, Oakland Catholic has committed to dramatically increasing financial aid awards for the 2020-2021 school year in order to ensure that young women may continue to pursue their dream of an OC educational experience. Financial aid packages are built from a variety of sources - small grants from the Bishop's Education Fund, EITC/OSTC funds procured by Oakland Catholic, scholarships, and internal aid from the school's annual budget.

To be considered for financial assistance, a parent/guardian must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Application made available to all registered families via their Oakland Catholic FACTS Tuition Management Account. An email with information on how to apply is typically sent to all newly registered and continuing families in early February. The official deadline for the financial aid application is March 31; applications posted after the deadline are processed as quickly as possible, but financial aid resources become more limited as we approach the next school year. Upon review of the application, FACTS provides a confidential need analysis report to the Business Office of Oakland Catholic High School. The need analysis report will determine the amount of aid available to the OC student from all sources, including the Bishop's Education Fund if applicable. Tuition & Financial Aid Award Statements will be mailed to families in late April/early May.

SallieMae Partnership

To further our commitment to financially support our families, Oakland Catholic High School has partnered with SallieMae and the K-12 Family Education Loan Program. Please follow this link directly to the SLMA website and the application process.
