Space is limited, so sign up today!
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
This year's session is structured around a robot build. To start the week, each camper will receive an Otto robot kit: an Arduino Nano to act as the brain, a customizable 3D-printed body and feet, and four separate motors for leg muscles. After constructing their robots from scratch, campers will learn how to operate and program them using their ingenuity and problem-solving skills!
WHY SHOULD I SIGN UP?
Oakland Catholic offers an exceptional high school experience for young women, nurturing them as academics, athletes, spiritual minds, friends, and leaders. BAM! gives campers the unique opportunity to explore and better prepare for their time at OC. Once exposed to academic rigor in this fun, nurturing environment, campers feel ready to transition to high school in a year or two!
WHO WILL TEACH ME?
OC faculty members with years of expertise and incredible passion for teaching will engage campers in their respective fields. Through innovative hands-on projects, guidance, and support, they help campers build knowledge and high level skills while ensuring they have lots of fun! In addition, current OC students serve as teachers' aides and mentors offering further insight into the OC experience.
