Follow the steps below to complete the admissions process and be sure to contact us with any questions. We're delighted you're here, and look forward to learning all about you!

Step 1: Online Application

Ready? Let's get started! To begin the application process, click on the application link and create an account with your email address. (Remember to keep track of your password.)

The online application will request the following, so it is helpful to have this information handy: address, parent & student emails, best phone number, name & address of your current school, name of your public school district, and any alumnae in your family.

Step 2: Release of Academic Records and Recommendation Form

Submit request for the Release of Records and completion of Recommendation Form: When you create a SchoolAdmin account and follow the steps to apply to Oakland Catholic, a request for records will be sent to your current school principal or school counselor. All you need to do is enter his/her name and email address!

The following academic information is requested:

All available transcripts, and two years of the most recent standardized test score reports.
Attendance and discipline records.
Any growth plans, IEPs, or other evaluative measures pertinent to the academic success of the applicant , as well as the student's medical records on file.

Contact the Admissions Office with any questions or specific concerns.

Step 3: Interview with Administration

Once the application has been submitted, and the records and recommendation forms have been received, a member of our OC Team will contact you to schedule a time for your required interview with a member of the Oakland Catholic High School administration. This is a necessary part of the application process, and interviews will be used to assist with the admissions reviewal and course scheduling processes.

During the interview, please be prepared to speak on your previous educational experiences, clubs and teams you have been a part of, and your interest in attending Oakland Catholic High School. Uniforms are not required for this interview, but we encourage you to dress appropriately and semi-professionally.

Step 4: Enrollment

Sign the intent to enroll contract through SchoolAdmin.
Complete online enrollment forms through SchoolAdmin.
Create or log into your FACTS Family Account with Oakland Catholic High School to set up your payment plan and apply for financial aid.* To submit the non-refundable $300 enrollment fee via credit/debit card over the phone, please contact our Student Accounts Specialist at 412-682-6633 ext. 1233. To submit a payment via cash or check, please bring your deposit to the OC Welcome Center.

*All families seeking financial assistance must submit the FACTS Grant & Aid Application

Step 5: Complete New Student Orientation

Upon completion of enrollment to Oakland Catholic, students will participate in a New Student Orientation. For most students, this orientation will take place during our New Student Orientation Night before the school year begins. If you are unable to make it to the New Student Orientation Night, or if you enrolled after this evening occurred, our OC Director of Enrollment will contact you with further details.

Completion of this orientation is required before attending Oakland Catholic. Please ensure that both the student and the parent/guardian are in attendance at the orientation.
