The OC Speech and Debate team has had an incredible run over the past few weeks, securing several spots at the upcoming PHSSL State Tournament and the Tournament of Champions.

State Qualifiers & Highlights: One Sihlangu '28: Went undefeated at the state qualifier to earn an automatic spot at States; Aundra Sheridan '26, Madeleine Fox '26, & Destiny Folks '27, All three have officially qualified for the State Tournament via the auto-bid process; Alessandra Decarlo '29,: Named as first alternate for the state tournament.

Tournament Standouts:
Our students have been dominant across the region and state: Aundra Sheridan '26: A powerhouse performance this season, earning 1st Place at Hampton (POI), and multiple podium finishes at the Pennsbury Falcon Invitational, North Allegheny, and the Sterner Dalmasse Steel City Invitational at Pittsburgh Allderdice. She has officially necessary bids to attend the prestigious Tournament of Champions at the University of Kentucky!; Destiny Folks '27: Secured a 4th Place finish at Hampton and reached the Octofinals at the Three Rivers NIETOC as well as the Semi-Finals at the Central Catholic tournament, earning her bids to the PHSSL State Tournament.
