Oakland Catholic was proud to host a recent check presentation by the Bridge Foundation, recognizing their continued commitment to expanding access to private education. Through its scholarship program, the Bridge Foundation helps make educational opportunities attainable for many families. This year, more than $360,000 was awarded to support students and families across Allegheny County—an extraordinary investment in their academic journeys and future success. In total, 23 schools, including Oakland Catholic, benefit from these funds, which are used to provide essential scholarships. Representatives from several of these partner schools were present for the occasion. This impactful funding is made possible through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, with generous contributions from Waste Management, RBC Capital Markets, CHUBB, and Malady & Wooten.
