Congratulations to Madelyn Vernon '27 on being selected as a National Youth Correspondent representing Glenshaw at the 2026 Washington Journalism and Media Conference at George Mason University! Madelyn earned this honor through her outstanding academic achievements and demonstrated passion for journalism and media studies. She will join other students from across the nation for an immersive, hands-on experience focused on journalism, media, and leadership development. During the conference, students participate in interactive simulations and engage with some of the country’s leading journalists, media professionals, researchers, and industry experts. Hosted on George Mason University’s state-of-the-art campus, the conference is designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of journalists and student leaders through unique educational experiences and direct access to professionals in the field.
