On September 10th, the freshman class gathered for their first class retreat—a day centered on prayer, Sacraments, friendship, and reflection. The theme of Belonging and Holy Friendship guided the day, with inspiring talks from Fiat leaders and guest speaker Joni Pepmyer, youth minister at St. Michael the Archangel Parish. The students also gathered for a time of Adoration, Confession, and Mass in the OC chapel. Retreats are a core piece of the spirituality of OC, offering each class the opportunity to pause, pray, partake in Sacraments,  and grow in community together.
