In celebration of Black History Month, OC students had the privilege of attending the 8th Annual High School Student Black History Month Summit yesterday—an inspiring event commemorating 100 years of honoring and uplifting Black history. The summit offered a meaningful and engaging experience, featuring powerful history sessions, a thought-provoking essay contest, and dynamic entertainment that celebrated the richness of Black culture and achievement. Students left feeling inspired, informed, and proud to take part in a tradition that recognizes the enduring impact and contributions of Black leaders, innovators, and communities throughout history.
