OC marked a momentous and joyous occasion with the Diocese of Pittsburgh as we welcomed Bishop Mark Eckman as the 13th Bishop to lead our diocesan community in faith and service. The installation Mass, held at the magnificent Saint Paul Cathedral, was a deeply moving and spiritually uplifting celebration, rich with tradition, reverence, and hope for the future.

Following the installation, Oakland Catholic High School had the distinct honor and privilege of hosting the reception in celebration of this historic event. It was a true blessing to open our doors to clergy, family, friends, and members of the broader faith community, as we gathered in fellowship to welcome Bishop Eckman into his new role.

We are profoundly grateful to have played a part in such a significant milestone in the life of the Church in Pittsburgh. It was an unforgettable day filled with joy, unity, and the enduring strength of our shared Catholic faith. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Bishop Eckman and offer our prayers for his leadership, vision, and ministry in the years to come.
