Zeinah Browne, OCHS'20 Scholarship Award

The Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation Scholarship Program is offered each year. This year was unlike any other as thousands of applicants applied for a scholarship.

In order to be considered, applicants must:

  • have an interest in architecture, local history, and/or landscape design;
  • be a resident of and attend school in Allegheny County;
  • be a high school senior who has been accepted to a college or university;
  • have a cumulative Grade Point Average at the end of the first semester senior year of 3.25 or greater; and
  • write an essay, complete an application, and submit two letters of recommendation.


    • Congratulations to Zeinah Browne, OCHS'20. Zeinah is one of sixteen graduating high school seniors who received an Honorable Mention award and a scholarship of $250. Zeinah will be attending Spelman College in the fall.
