This past weekend our own Leah Smith '13 won the 400-meter free at the FINA World Champions Series in Indianapolis! The exclusive meet was invitation-only, bringing together world-renowned, top-ranked athletes and included "Olympic and World medallists, the WR holder and the best in the world rankings in each event." As Team USA Captain and Barings Ambassador, Leah more than earned her spot. Not only did she win, Leah set a personal record with a time of 4:03. As she reflected in a post-race interview, "I knew I was putting really good times up in practice, so I was pumped for the meet."
Congratulations on your hard work and another amazing accomplishment, Leah!
