Kate Brennan Set to Cheer for Division I Pitt

After four years of perfecting skills, working during the off season, taking tumbling classes and leading the OC competitive cheer squad, Kate was chosen to be a Division I Pitt Cheerleader.

The University of Pittsburgh Cheer and Dance Teams annually rank among the finest in all of college athletics. In addition to cheering on the sidelines and alongside The Oakland Zoo, the Pitt cheerleading squad competes nationally. This past season, the Pitt cheerleading squad won a national title in Division I Small Coed.

Kate will be the first OC Cheerleading Alum to cheer for a Division I school in recent years.

Oakland Catholic Coaches Cassie Sirockman, '06 and Lauren Rockey, '06 are beyond proud of the leadership Kate showed at OC and the tremendous effort Kate put into making the cheerleading squad. We can not wait to cheer YOU on!

Way to make OC proud.
