Jenna Granatire Named Head Volleyball Coach

The Oakland Catholic High School Athletic Department is thrilled to announce the hiring of Pittsburgh native, Ms. Jenna Granatire as Head Volleyball Coach.

Coach Granatire brings 15 years of volleyball playing and coaching experience. She attended West Mifflin High School, where she earned WPIAL AAA All Section Team honors. Collegiately, she played with the Duquesne University club team. She has coached seven years at Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball and P3R Volleyball club. She assisted the Girls team at Bethel Park High School and the Keystone Oaks Boys volleyball team for three seasons.

Coach Granatire models the mission of Oakland Catholic’s pillars of Spirituality, Scholarship, and Service. She is being honored as one of Pittsburgh’s 50 finest young professionals by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Western Pennsylvania.

She is excited about the opportunity to share her talents with young women “I have a passion for the game and love to win,” stated Coach Granatire.

Coach Granatire graduated from Duquesne University earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising and graduated from Ohio University earning an M.B.A. In her full time job, she works as a full-time job, she works as a programmatic media buyer.

“This is a tremendous day for Oakland Catholic community and volleyball program,” stated Dr. Hall.
