Last Thursday, October 21st, 14 OC students attended the Western Pennsylvania Council of Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) fair at PNC Park. All OC students have been accepted into at least one school so far!

"It was a great opportunity to have exposure to HBCUs from across the country, I was able to learn about different academic programs and make connections with admissions counselors. I was admitted to 4 schools and received full academic scholarships to 2." -Toluwani Ogunyemi, OCHS'22

It was great to see that the HBCUs were given a platform and we were able to be exposed to the academic programs that they can offer. I was admitted into 1 school during the visit. -Ja'Mees Singletary, OCHS'22
