Georgetown Summer Program

This summer, Junior Evelyn Sorg attended the Georgetown Law and Advocacy program.

It was a week long program on the Georgetown campus where attendees were taught the basics of trial work. At the end of the program they got to do an actual mock trial inside the DC Circuit court! Evelyn learned how to conduct opening and closing statements, how to direct and cross a witness, and many other integral parts in the world of law. She was given the opening statement and can honestly say "it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. It was so cool to write and present my statement in the defense of my client."
