Rising OC Seniors, Baylie Shropshire and Karina Sirott enjoyed a five day CSI experience in June, 2023 at Waynesburg University. Campers learned important aspects in the field of forensic science: fundamentals of fingerprinting, crime scene investigation & processing of physical evidence, DNA profiling & analysis, excavation of burial remains, surveillance techniques, planning & execution of search warrants, expert testimony and so much more. 

The CSI Camp provided students hands-on training by certified experts in the field of forensics. Students enhanced their knowledge and understanding of what you can expect in the majors of both forensic science and criminal justice in college and, ultimately, a future occupation. Overall, this camp was a great educational opportunity with an amazing hands on CSI learning experience!
