Washington, D.C. - January 21, 2022 - The March was an amazing opportunity for us to get out into the real world and fight for what we believe in. It’s really easy to talk about things we agree or disagree with, but it’s also so important for us to take action as well. I was so excited to hear from several young female speakers who talked about their own experiences, because the charged environment around the pro-life/pro-choice debate often silences the people that are affected the most. We marched with so many people from so many different backgrounds and life experiences, and it was really refreshing to see that we were able to come together and find some common ground. Everything about our world has become so political, and I felt it was important for us to take a step away from our differences, and celebrate those things we have in common.
