The 2012 OC Chess Team has finally been officially recognized for their PA State Chess Federation Championship!  A plaque now hangs outside the Donahue Pavilion and a trophy currently sits on display in the Welcome Center, thanks to the persistence of their former moderator and teacher, Mr. Jeff Flohr.  

On behalf of the championship team of Emily Carney OCHS’14, Grace Mitro OCHS’14, Abby Ceraso OCHS’14, and Andrea Kazmierzak OCHS’15, Mr. Flohr wants to acknowledge and thank former Athletic Director Molly Goldcamp OCHS’07 and former President Mary Claire Kasunic for their patience and ongoing support to bring this recognition to fruition and honor the team with both the plaque and PSCF trophy.
