OC Students Experiment with Pitt's "SimMan"
On Monday, Dec. 17, Oakland Catholic's AP Bio and CP/Honors Anatomy/Physiology students attended a SimMan human simulator presentation by the University of Pittsburgh and Pitt Pharmacy's OC alumna, Madison McConnell.

Students role played the work of a pharmacist, nurse, and physician, caring for SimMan as a patient experiencing a heart attack. Pitt Pharmacy Rx Ambassadors (currently enrolled students) and a faculty member created this active learning experience with a high-fidelity human simulator (mannequin with life-like functions) so students can experience the pharmacist's role in health care.
