Senior midfielder Natalie Cyterski's bloody jersey didn't stop her or her teammates from pulling out a 15-12 win against two-time defending champs the Hampton Talbots at the Class 2A WPIAL girls lacrosse championship last Thursday. After a hit to the face, Cyterski swapped uniforms and jumped back in the game, scoring four goals alongside junior Emily Coughlin who matched her tally. Meanwhile, goalie Maddie Vogel maintained their lead against Hampton's aggressive charge with a number of impressive saves. First year Eagles coach Katie Decanay crystalized the feeling among fans as they celebrated their incredible season: "They really deserved it."
