Marisa Greco

As Principal, Marisa brings with her over fifteen years of administrative and teaching experience. Born to Italian immigrants, Marisa was raised in the Pittsburgh area and spent her entire academic career in Catholic schools. Graduating from Duquesne University in 1999 with her Bachelor of Science and in 2002 with her Master of Science degree, she continued her education at Point Park University where she earned her Principal Certification.

Marisa's professional experiences include nine years of classroom instruction followed by experience in curriculum design, teacher supervision, and several years as a Technology Coordinator. Her experiences not only encompass several facets of education but also a variety of educational arenas: Catholic, Public and Charter Schools as well as Intermediate Units.

In her spare time, Marisa is a volunteer with the Western PA Humane Society. She resides in Carnegie and is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. Through her leadership, Marisa aims to enrich the strong, supportive, and collaborative culture among the faculty and staff, and to foster the growth of Oakland Catholic High School, its faith tradition and its lasting impression on the greater community.

"As one of the leaders of Oakland Catholic, I see our students as more than young adults. I see them as lawyers, doctors, designers, and politicians. These possibilities are endless. Their futures have not been written yet and they have the ability to change the direction of each step on the path of life."
