    Spirit Week Liturgy Today at 1:15. Please report to homerooms after 9th period and then proceed to church.
    Today begins Spirit Week! Monday- Dress up – Spirit week mass- 1:00 liturgy schedule
    Tuesday- OC gear day- Normal class schedule- Please stop in the cafe and buy a iced cupcake- all profits go to ICE!
    Wednesday- clash day and Talent show- 1:00 assembly schedule
    Hall decorating Wednesday after school until 7:00PM- 
    Thursday – scavenger hunt and decade dress day- 1:00 assembly schedule
    Friday – Class color day and class color ultimate football assembly – tug of war also! 1:00 assembly schedule
    LAX We will practice at Panther Hollow field on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:15pm to 5:15pm.
    Thursday we will travel to PISA to scrimmage Shadyside. The bus leaves Oakland Catholic at around 3:10pm and we should be back sometime around 5:45pm. Practice is mandatory. Games are mandatory. All team and school rules apply.

    Mayor’s Council If there is any student that lives in the City of Pittsburgh and is interested in being on the Mayor’s Youth Council, please come to office to receive an application.
    The OC Habitat for Humanity and MAPS clubs have formed a team to walk for the Highmark Walk for Health 5k on May 22nd.     Senior Class Sleep Over! Forms are available during homeroom in room G16. The forms are due back to Mrs. Gentile by Friday, March 12.
    Congratulations, Swim Team Oakland Catholic captured their 11th straight WPIAL crown in swimming.
    Good Luck Cheerleaders Good luck to the OC Cheerleading squad as they head to Washington, D.C. for a National Competition March 5-7, 2010.
    Recycling Volunteers are reminded to come to room 112 on Tuesdays immediately after school.
    In-line Hockey Anyone interested in playing in-line hockey for Central Catholic please sign up in the main office. All ages and experience levels are accepted.
    Looking for volunteer hours? Interact Club members volunteer at the Residence on Fifth every Tuesday from 2:45 – 4:00 PM. Please see Mrs. Newmyer in the library for more information.”
    OC’s Prom will be held on Friday April 30th from 8pm-Midnight at the Heinz History Center.

    LAX We will have practice at Panther Hollow for the remainder of the season. Practice begins at 3:15pm and ends at 5:15pm. The Melissa Nadeau, the trainer, will be doing concussion baseline testing on Tuesday March 16. If you don’t have one, make sure you attend the testing.
