Gene Kelly Awards Congratulations to the Cast and Crew of Beauty and the Beast. They received 11 nominations for the Gene Kelly Awards.
Athletic Training Workshop There is an athletic training workshop given by UPMC Sports Medicine on July 29, 30, 31. Any interested student should pick up information in the main office.
Yearbook sale The yearbook sale for 2007-2008 yearbooks has been extended to
May 22nd. See Ms. Sciacca with any questions. Yearbooks CANNOT be ordered after this date.
Library books ALL library books are due by the end of the school day on Friday, May 16th.
Honors Convocation If anyone received a letter regarding the Honors Convocation, please stop in the Office to pick up your award.

Kennywood - The representatives from Kennywood will be here to sell picnic tickets on Thursday, May 8th at 10:30 AM. Cost of an all day ride ticket is $19.00 CASH ONLY.

Race for the Cure
Team MAPS Laux-Oakland Catholic High School is well under way for the Race for the Cure to be held on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Schenley Park at Flagstaff Hill Pittsburgh, PA. The schedule begins at 7:15 a.m. with aerobic warm-up followed by 8:00 a.m with a survivor parade. Please come comfortably dressed and wear walking/running shoes. Please remember to wear your Susan G. Komen t-shirt. See you there!

Rudolph’s Run
Join us for the 1st Annual Rudolph’s Run on June 21st in Schenley Park. This 4k Race/Walk honors our beloved George Rudolph. All proceeds benefit the George Rudolph Scholarship Fund. For more info please download the Application and Letter.
