Raise the roof with your voice!
Are you a fan of musicals like Wicked and Frozen? Enjoy singing, acting, and immersing yourself in the music of shows? Always wanted to be a part of a musical production? This is the BAM! Workshop for you. Whether you’re a newbie or experienced performer, come sing, act, and dance at OC!

Playing with Clay
Pottery as an art form!
Work with OC Artist and Instructor Meg Koroly to shape a piece of pottery of your own design. Experience the beauty of creating something that is functional, artistic, and unique. *Each Bammer will complete a piece that will be fired in the OC kiln the following week. Finished pottery creations will be available for pickup from the OC Welcome Center on a specified date.

Master the Mindstorm
Build, code, and run a robot!
Learn the fundamentals of robotics as you program a mindstorms robot. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative collaboration will come together as you master challenges set before you. All levels of experience with robotics and programming are welcome!

Otto: the Dancing Machine
Build a better robot!
Construct your personal Otto robot and program it to move and groove! The Arduino Nano acts as the brain that controls the customized 3D printed body and feet, along with 4 separate motors for the leg muscles. Once built, Otto will be able to walk, dance, sing, and even avoid obstacles....at your command. Walk away from one session with a new robot pal!

Conceive, write, and present a play all in one morning!
Explore the process of creative writing in this fun workshop that is sure to spark some great ideas and help you connect with other future writers! Learn how the building blocks of writing – grammar, spelling and sentence structure – endow you with the means to create, express yourself, and entertain.
