Incoming Freshmen

Eighth grade is a very exciting year. So many wonderful milestones to look forward to! One of the most important is choosing your academic home for the next four years. This process can be overwhelming, so we strive to make things as easy for you as possible.

Follow the steps below to complete the admissions process and be sure to contact us with any questions. We're delighted you're here, and look forward to learning all about you!

Step 1: Online Application

Ready? Let's get started! To begin the application process, click on the link below and create an account with your email address. (Keep track of your password in case you need to return and finish at a later point.)

The online application will request the following, so it's helpful to have this information handy: address, parent and student emails, best contact phone number, name and address of your current school, name of your public school district, and any alumnae in your family.

SUBMIT AN APPLICATION

Step 2: Records Release

Complete the Records Release Form (below) and deliver it to your elementary school principal. This will prompt them to send us the following:

6th: Transcripts and standardized test scores
7th: Transcripts and standardized test scores
8th: First quarter report card (minimum) and standardized test scores

Once we have received your elementary school records, the Admissions Committee will begin to review your submitted application. *Please follow up with your elementary school office to ensure the records are sent in a timely fashion.

Step 3: Scholarship Entrance Exam

Step 4: Registration

Once you have received your Acceptance Packet (mailed in February), complete the following three items.

Step 1: Sign and send the Course Selection Sheet and the FACTS Management Form. (Included in the Acceptance Packet.)

Step 2: Pay the non-refundable $250 registration fee. You will receive an email from FACTS Management with instructions and a link.

Step 3: Complete the online forms that you receive via email from OC Admissions. (All forms require an electronic signature.)

*Named Scholarships will be awarded to registered students in April and May.
