Liturgy & Prayer

“Pray without ceasing.”
1 Thes 5:17

Prayer is nothing short of being in relationship with God. It anchors our spirituality, scholarship and service in a life of deepening wisdom and reflection. Prayer unites us in Christ, brings us closer as a community, reminds us that we are part of a bigger plan, that we have great worth, and allows us to live our lives with greater discernment, peace and understanding.

Daily Mass

7:20am - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. All celebrations are held in the Rhodora J. Donahue Chapel in Honor of St. Joan of Arc.

Request a Mass

Memorial Mass or Special Intention Mass requests are available for a $10 donation. Please contact the President's Office by calling 412.682.6884.

Once scheduled, a Mass card will be sent to the recipient's address with the date and time.

Weekly Friday Adoration

“When you look at the Crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you then. When you look at the Sacred Host you understand how much Jesus loves you now.” --St. Teresa of Calcutta

Each grade has the opportunity once a month to spend time with Our Lord in Adoration. In our mission to grow in spirituality and closer to Christ, time with the Eucharist allows for a personal experience of reflection, prayer and peace in the midst of our busy lives.

Reconciliation

This healing sacrament is offered frequently throughout the school year: during retreats, on mission trips, in Advent and in Lent.

Eucharistic Ministry

Seniors have an opportunity to serve as Eucharistic Ministers for all-school, class, and daily masses. Interested students should contact the School Chaplain or Campus Minister who are responsible for coordination and training. Students who participate are inducted at the first all-school mass in September.
