MAY 10 AND 11, 2008 FRIDAY AND SATURDAY – We will be attending the Midwest Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio. We will be staying at the Homewood Suites by Hilton at 2670 East Kemper Road, Sharonville, OH 45241. Rooms have been reserved for the girls. Parents if they wish to attend must call 513-772-8888 before April 25 with a credit card to reserve their room. The rates are $107 + 16% tax for king suites. The parent block is under the name of Oakland Catholic Crew. Check in Friday, May 9 and check out on Sunday, May 11. The hotel expects to sell out and will not be holding our block of rooms beyond the deadline of April 25. So please call and book your room now.
Directions: From Pittsburgh, follow I-79 South about 20 mile to Washington, PA. Bear right to get onto I-70 West ramp towards Wheeling, WV. Use I-470 bypass to avoid Wheeling local traffic and continue westbound. After about 145 miles, you will be approaching the beltway I-270 around Columbus, OH. Follow I-270 South (Exit 108 A) for 11 miles, take I-71 South to Cincinnati, OH.

Follow I-71 South for about 85 miles. The beltway around Cincinnati is I-275. Take the I-275 West (Exit 17B) and travel 4.8 miles to Mosteller Road (Exit 44).

Follow ramp and turn left on Mosteller Road, after 0.3 miles, turn left on E. Kemper Road. Within one tenth of a mile, you would see the Homewood Suites by Hilton on the left.
Total distance from Pittsburgh to Sharonville, OH is about 275 miles (4 hours).

Directions to Race site:
Leaving the hotel, turn right at E Kemper Road, then turn right on
Mosteller Road and bear right immediately again into the I-275 E entry ramp.
Travel about 20 miles, take the OH State Route125 (Exit 65)
in southeast part of the I-275 beltway. Travel about 10 miles on Rt. 125.

Total distance from the hotel to Lake Harsha race site is about 35 miles, allow a good 45-minute travel time. There are plenty of fast food, mini-marts and gas stations along state Rt. 125. Least expensive gas used to be at the two gas stations near the intersection of I-275 and Rt. 125.
