Greetings Alumnae,
My name is Caitlin O'Brien-Rice and I am the Director of Alumnae
Relations and Assistant Director of the Annual Fund at Oakland
Catholic High School. As a member of the OCHS class of 2006, I am
thrilled to return to our alma mater to serve in this role. While
renovations and updates have beautified the school since I last
traveled throughout the halls as a student, Oakland Catholic has
remained committed to providing young women with opportunities to
grow in spirituality, scholarship and service. Our shared mission
and philosophy is at the heart of Oakland Catholic's growth and
change, and generations of graduates have been positively impacted
by the holistic experience.
Taking into consideration our unique history, Oakland Catholic
recognizes the importance of our alumnae base. Drawing from the
foundations of Sacred Heart and St. Paul Cathedral, Divine
Providence Academy, Our Lady of Mercy Academy, St. Augustine High
School, St. John the Baptist High School, St. Lawrence O'Toole High
School, St. Mary High School, St. Raphael High School, St. Rosalia
High School and Ursuline Academy, the scope of our alumnae network
is extensive. Each alumna plays an important role in enhancing this
distinctive community of over 10,000 graduates.
Alumnae also play a vital role in ensuring that Oakland Catholic
remains a successful secondary institution by demonstrating
selfless acts of volunteerism, charitable support, and overall
enthusiasm for our school. The energy and passion of our alumnae is
undeniably one of the greatest gifts afforded to us by our alma
mater. I am looking forward to capturing the stories of these
inspirational women so that the Oakland Catholic legacy will live
on for many years to come.
