8th Grade Visitation Day

This day is designed to introduce students to OC and high school life. Over 400 girls participate in a mini-day filled with demonstrations by our outstanding faculty, presentations by our students in the OC chat rooms, and lunch with fellow 8th graders from the Pittsburgh Area. Open House

The day will include:
- Guided tours by OC students of facilities
- Opportunities to meet the faculty and administration
- Information on academics, clubs, and sports
- Financial aid and scholarship information
- Parent room

Incoming Freshmen Scholarship Entrance Exam

Registration begins at 8:10 am
Registration Fee - $10
Reservations are not necessary

Scores will be used for acceptance into OC, placement in classes, and eligibility for academic scholarships.

Applications should be mailed to OCHS

December, 2007 or January, 2008

Test results will be mailed to students and principals.
Recommendations will be requested from the eighth grade sending school.

January, 2008 to February, 2008

Notification letters and course descriptions mailed to applicants.

Class Registration form and $250 non-refundable registration fee may be mailed to Oakland Catholic

Register in person at Oakland Catholic from 8:30 am – Noon.
$250 non-refundable registration fee is due.
Uniform measurements, deposit of $75 is required.

March 1 – 14, 2008

Financial Aid Application PSAS (Private School Aid Service) forms for Catholic students due to PSAS for the 2008-2009 school year.

Note: This is a firm deadline. Applying after March 14th may cause delay in notification or no funds remaining.
