Accounting
As electives in the Mathematics department,
accounting and personal finance courses are offered as pragmatic
applications of math. Introducing the students to the basic
principles of accounting, summarizing, reporting, and interpreting
financial information prepares them for various forms of business
ownership, particularly sole proprietorships and
corporations.
