OC Quick Facts

Our average student population is 600 students with 150 per grade.

The Teacher/Student ratio is 13:1.  The average class size is 20-25 - smaller in many upper-level courses depending on the subject.

OC offers a rigorous academic curriculum that incorporates critical thinking skills via college-level work, college-equivalency and advanced placement courses, and challenging assignments.

As a Christ-centered Catholic high school, OC is committed to an environment that promotes spiritual formation via classes, atmosphere, liturgy, and service.

There are over 15 sports available to our students; most teams do not cut.

There are more than 25 clubs/activities; involvement and leadership are encouraged!

All students wear uniforms; we encourage creativity and diversity through individual performance, thought, and expression - not physical appearance and trappings.

OC students prove their worth each year by performing well on/in SATs, IOWA tests, AP exams, national foreign language exams, science competitions; by receiving awards at various academic, musical, artistic, and athletic events; by gaining admission to top-ranked colleges and universities; by earning hundreds of thousands of dollars in college scholarships annually.

With a retention rate of over 90%, OC provides a nurturing, caring environment where each student feels accepted as a member of a dedicated school community committed to her growth in spirituality, scholarship, and service.
